The “We Were on a Break” collection was developed under official Warner Bros. licensing, drawing from the iconic humor, visuals, and unforgettable moments of the Friends series. Each apparel piece reinterprets a specific character’s personality and classic quote through bold graphics and stylized compositions designed for a modern audience. Nostalgia is activated through visual storytelling, featuring references like the purple door, Phoebe’s guitar, the Central Perk couch, and playful nods to scenes such as Joey’s infamous trifle or Ross’s “Pivot” moment.
CREATIVE DIRECTION / ART DIRECTION / GRAPHIC DESIGN / ILLUSTRATION
The garments were styled and photographed in scenes that mirror the show's chemistry, using cast-inspired models and signature props to visually anchor the emotional tone. This collection merges fashion with character-driven storytelling, translating sitcom memory into wearable design.
These apparel design concepts were created during my time as an in-house graphic designer for a licensed clothing brand.
